The ICBA Annual Convention in Nashville embraced the powerful theme "Rhythm. Amplified.," aiming to capture the dynamic movement and amplified voices of change within community banking. I led the creation of a visual identity that abstractly interpreted this theme, resulting in an energetic and engaging experience for attendees.




My design process began by developing a palette of brightly colored gradients, establishing a vivid and impactful visual rhythm. The concept of "rhythm" and "amplification" was further explored through the visualization of soundwaves reverberating outwards – free-flowing shapes that expanded dynamically, symbolizing the spread and amplification of ideas and voices. These shapes acted as containers, filled with the same vibrant gradients, creating a visual echo and reinforcing the theme.
To enhance the sense of movement and amplification, I strategically layered soundwave shapes, experimenting with blending modes to add depth and visual interest. Collages incorporating event-related imagery were integrated, grounding the abstract design in the tangible experience of the convention. This approach ensured the "Rhythm. Amplified." theme resonated across all event materials, creating a cohesive and energetic brand experience.




This visual identity for the ICBA Annual Convention in Nashville successfully translated the challenging "Rhythm. Amplified." theme into a dynamic and engaging visual experience. By abstractly representing rhythm through movement and amplification through vibrant gradients and echoing shapes, I created a memorable brand that captured the energy and forward momentum of the community banking industry. This project highlights my ability to interpret abstract concepts creatively and deliver impactful visual solutions across diverse platforms.
