Creative Leader, Art Director, Taco Enthusiast

With over 10 years of industry experience, I bring a passion for pushing creative boundaries and making businesses better. From small startups to national organizations, I’ve had the privilege of creating work that surprises, delights, and moves brands in bold new directions. I approach every project with a curious, optimistic mindset—finding new ways to tell old stories and connect to new customers.

Currently, I serve as Art Director at ICBA, a national non-profit dedicated to supporting community banks. Here, I wear many hats: leading end-to-end design campaigns, coordinating cross-functional teams, pitching creative ideas to senior stakeholders, and keeping the creative engine running smoothly—all from my remote setup. A career highlight? Leading the successful rebranding of ICBA, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints and overseeing seamless collaboration with external partners.

But wait, there’s more:

In my past roles, I’ve worn the hats of content marketer, designer, and UX enthusiast. I’ve helped tech companies break down complex messaging to better connect with consumers and crafted a wide range of deliverables—from ebooks and infographics to ad campaigns and custom illustrations. I’ve also managed motion design projects for digital displays, produced direct mail campaigns, and developed strong client relationships. Along the way, I earned my Google UX certification and took the leap to launch my own design studio, MeroMero ATX.

What drives me? People and meaningful connections. At the heart of every great design is the desire to engage, inspire, and create a lasting impact. I believe that investing in authentic relationships pays dividends in the long run.

When I’m not designing or leading teams, I’m probably brewing coffee, exploring Austin’s unbeatable taco/beer/BBQ scene, playing video and board games, or convincing my kids to listen to better music.

Let’s connect!

In 2022 I launched a multi-disciplinary design studio, structuring work around Craft, Culture, and Community.
